The best teams of volleyball from across the globe convene in Japan to fight for qualification for the 2016 Olympics.
Getting underway on Tuesday, the FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Cup hosts twelve nations battling it out for just two qualification spots over the next fortnight, with the privilege of joining hosts Brazil at next year’s Games awaiting the victors.
Iranians and Argentineans will attend on the court to play for one of the six matches of the opening day.
Iran is pitted against Russia, Poland, Venezuela, Tunisia, and Argentina in group B of the event.
