TEHRAN, Sep. 07 (MNA) – The development of political relations between Iran and the Czech Republic would be a good opportunity to improve bilateral economic and industrial relations, said Iran’s parliament speaker in meeting Czech FM.

The Czech Republic Foreign Minister Lubomír Zaorálek met and talked with Iran’s Parliament Speaker in Tehran on Sunday.

Expressing satisfaction about the improving relations between the two countries, Larijani said that, “great opportunities are available for increasing cooperation in political, economic, and industrial sections which need to be exploited in the interest of the two sides.”

“The development of relations between the parliaments of the two countries can also be useful in accelerating and expanding communications,” asserted Iranian official.

Larijani further expressed satisfaction towards the agreement between Iran and 5+1 adding that, “removal of sanctions can broaden the horizons of commercial relations between Iran and the European Union, specially the Czech Republic.”

Meanwhile, the Czech Republic’s minister of foreign affairs also deemed communication between the two countries’ Parliaments as essential for improving bilateral relations stating that, “political and parliamentary ties between the two sides will lead to economic and industrial relations in the fields of energy and industry.”

Lubomír Zaorálek also emphasized the need for finding a political solution in Syria and noted that, “military strikes would not put an end to the crises in the region.”

The Czech official deemed the 86 years of diplomatic relations between the Czech and Iranian as a platform for developing relations and announced Czech industrial companies’ readiness for developing cooperation with Iranian companies in heavy industry, medical and rail link sectors.
