Bibliography of Russian Works in Iran includes two sections; the first introduces 212 books which are translated from Persian into Russian and the other part lists 1692 works which are rendered from Russian into Persian.
The books regarding the first part mostly focus on the history of Islam and Shiism, Islam and its basic beliefs, the Islamic Revolution, the biography of the founder of the Islamic Republic and noted figures like Mulla Sadra.
The other chapter contains list of works by noted Russian writers namely Chekhov, Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy and Maxim Gorky.
The book includes all the works which have been translated from Persian into Russian and vice versa- from 1978 so far.
In this edition of MIBF, which will run from September 2 to 7, Iran is the guest of honor with a free area of 300 square meters dedicated to Iranian cultural institutes to hold workshops on Persian calligraphy, miniature and music.
