Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Marzieh Afkham deemed British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond’s two-day trip to Tehran as a measure in line with constructive interaction and mutual respect.
She stressed that the current phase of the relationship between Iran and the UK must be devoted to repairing the harms done in the past.
The Iranian spokeswoman also urged the British to understand the real policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Afkham recounted that during the two-day visit of the British delegation along with examining the capacities of cooperation, the developing state of the region was discussed by the officials.
