TEHRAN, Aug. 22 (MNA) – Iran’s Plasma Physics Research Center is recruiting researchers in the fields of energy and plasma technology.

Supported by Iran National Science Foundation (INSF), Plasma Physics Research Center chaired by Prof. Mahmood Ghorannevis, recruits postdoctoral researchers in the fields of energy and plasma technology.

The postdoctoral fellowship in energy and plasma technology comes after Professor Mahmood Ghorannevis won INSF research chair award in “nuclear fusion”.

Plasma Physics Research Center is one of the two Iranian centers which conduct research on nuclear fusion, making Iran the only Middle Eastern country with the associated knowledge. The IR-T1 reactor used in this research center has been approved by and works under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
