“Iran's Army has scheduled 6 military exercise to be held before the end of Iranian year in March, out of which one is a missile drill,” Commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan told the reporters on Saturday.
In response to a question on new achievements to be unveiled in the military parade of September 22 which marks the anniversary of Saddam’s start of the 1980–1988 Imposed War, the senior Iranian commander asserted that some new equipment is ready for public show that part of it would be staged before the parade.
The commander promised the nation to be ready for the new situation in the region, especially in terms of proxy wars.
About concerns over western borders of the country, Pourdastan assured that every movement is monitored and there is no threat posed on Iran as capabilities are adapted for the new situations and threats are dealt with before reaching the borderlines.
