MOSCOW, Aug. 21 (MNA) – The first session of Iran-Russia joint scientific cooperation commission will be held next week in Moscow.

Iran's Vice President for Scientific and Technological Affairs Sorena Sattari is scheduled to arrive in Moscow next Monday to sit the first session of Iran-Russia joint commission on scientific cooperation and visit MAKS International Aviation and Space Show of Moscow.

On the agenda of the commission are examination of interaction in the advanced fields of aerospace, biotechnology and nano-technology.

During his 5-day visit, Sattari is also scheduled to meet with Dmitryi Olegovich Rogozin, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia in charge of defense industry, Andrei Fursenko, Vladimir Putin's science and technology assistant, Igor Komarov, the current General Director of the Russian Aviation and Space Agency, and Denis Valentinovich Manturov, Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation.
