TEHRAN, Aug. 20 (MNA) –Secretary General of Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) said that the center is ready to provide the Syrian nation with medicinal supplies.

Ali Asghar Ahmadi met Syrian Health Minister Nizar Yazigi on Wednesday saying that Iran and Syria are two brother and Muslim countries enjoying mutual goals. The Iranian nation will not forget the Syrians solidarity with Iran during the years of the Imposed War during 1980-1988.

‘The IRCS has provided medicine, food, clothing and tents for the Syrian people during the past few years but the volume of the damages is so high that the humanitarian aids should continue,' he noted.

‘The center has great experiences in natural disasters as flood, earthquake which can be handed over to the Syrian government,’ he added.

In other news, Speaker of the Parliament Ali Larijani received the Syrian Health Minister on Wednesday in Tehran and emphasized on Iran’s humane duty in providing medical and health aid, praising Syrian people’s bravely facing the difficulties and the swarm of plights in recent years.
