TEHRAN, Aug. 17 (MNA) – Iranian top negotiator said on Sunday that JCPOA is an attachment to the resolution and its violation does not signify a breach of the resolution.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi made the remarks in a meeting of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission on Sunday.

Reiterating that UN Security Council Resolution 1929 was a historical event, Araghchi said it banned Iran from exporting or importing missile equipment, but the restriction does not exist in JCPOA.

"JCPOA is attached to the resolution; its violation breaches the resolution; while violation of the resolution is not a breach of JCPOA," Araghchi said, stressing that if JCPOA is violated, everything will be reversible.

Denying SWIFT embargo on Iran, Araghchi said Swift sanctions are against those who are on the list of Europe, US and the Security Council's sanctions which includes some of the natural and legal persons.

Araghchi stressed that SWIFT would automatically resume service provision after the names of specific Iranian people and organizations are removed from the blacklist of UN Security Council or EU.

Iranian deputy FM also noted that Iran's position is clearly stated and documented; JCPOA is only a road map with no classified or unclassified sections.
