TEHRAN, Aug. 12 (MNA) – Iranian FM Zarif and Hezbollah Secy. Gen. Seyed Hassan Nasrallah have met in Beirut.

According to Al-Safir newspaper, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif ahead of an Iranian delegation held a long meeting with Nasrallah on Tuesday evening.

FM Zarif expressed hope that bilateral cooperation would help pave the way for further development in Lebanon.

Pointing to the positive impact of the nuclear deal results on stability and development of the region, he said "Iran solved a complicated international problem by means of egotiation and dialogue."

In another meeting with Lebanon prime minister, Tammam Salam emphasized on the role of spiritual, social and political aspects of resistance; "we are convinced that mutual understanding and agreement is the only way to save Lebanon of crisis," Lebanese PM asserted.

Meeting with Lebanon's parliament speaker, foreign minister, Palestinian groups in Lebanon, and a press conference are on the agenda of Mohammad Javad Zarif and his delegation in Beirut.
