The Iranian volleyball team B overpowered the Chinese 3-2 in the semifinal match on Friday in 12,000-seat Azadi Stadium.
The hosts won the fierce fight 3-2 while they lost the first two sets 25-21 and 25-20. But the last three sets were for Iranians who defeated the Chinese 25-9, 25-19 and 16-14.
Now to fight for the title, the Iranians and the Japanese have to line up in the same venue on Saturday at 7:00 Tehran time.
The 2015 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship opened at Azadi Sport Complex in Tehran on July 31 and will run until August 8.
