Being present at 40 international festivals and winning 4 awards, A Few Cubic Meters of Love will be screened in German festivals for the fourth time.
Jamshid Mahmoudi’s debut film, A Few Cubic Meters of Love narrates the story set somewhere in the outskirts of Tehran, where a small factory illegally employs Afghan asylum seekers, who live with their families in old containers or modest shacks in nearby shanty towns. Saber, a young Iranian worker, secretly meets Marona, daughter of Abdolsalam, an Afghan worker. A love story unfolds.
Five Lakes Film Festival began on 29 July 2015 at ten different venues in Bavaria, Germany, and will wrap up on August 10.
The Iran's representative is slated to be showcased on August 05.
