TEHRAN, Jul. 13 (MNA) – Iran's court has begun the third session in the trial of the detained Washington Post correspondent Jason Rezaian on Monday morning.

The trial held behind closed doors is judged by Abolghasem Salavati.

Two previous sessions for Rezaian's trial were held in May and June in a Revolutionary Court on charges including espionage and distributing propaganda against the Islamic Republic.

Rezaian, his wife and two photojournalists were detained on July 2014 in Tehran. All were later released except the American-Iranian correspondent of Washington Post Jason Rezaian.
