TEHRAN, Jul. 13 (MNA) – To develop laboratory cooperation between Iran and South Korea, Iran’s IHTLN and South Korea’s HCT signed an MoU on Sunday.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Iran High-Tech Laboratory Network (IHTLN) and the MD of South-Korean HCT Company by the secretary of IHTLN and the MD of HCT in Tehran on Sunday.

The MoU is on issuing licenses, and conducting calibration tests on new lab devices of strategic technologies and pharmaceuticals.

The MoU is signed for a 5-year period of cooperation and also covers holding workshops for scientific interactions between the researchers of both countries.

Iran High-Tech Laboratory Network was formed in July 2014 by Iranian Vice-President for Science and Technology and since then 178 laboratories have joined the network.

The network was created in a bid to develop the research infrastructures for strategic technologies.
