On Monday the Iranian national women's shooting team, comprising Najmeh Khedmati, Maryam Talebi and Mahlagha Jambozorg, claimed the bronze medal in the women's 50m prone shooting competitions.
Najme Khedmati with 617.4 points, Maryam Talebi with 619.4 points, and Mahlagha Jambozorg with 614.6 points placed Iran at the third ranking with the total of 1851 points, after Thailand and China.
This was the third medal the Iranian athletes managed to claim at the Universiade competitions.
On Sunday, Najmeh Khedmati snatched a gold medal after putting on an awe-inspiring display of skills at the 28th edition of Universiade currently being held in South Korea.
Also on Sunday, the Iranian national women's shooting team, comprising Najmeh Khedmati, Mahlagha Jambozorg and Maedeh-Sadat Aminzadeh, claimed the bronze medal in the women's 10m air rifle team competitions.
The 2015 Summer Universiade, which marks the 28th edition of the tournament, opened in the South Korean city of Gwangju on July 3, and will run until July 14.
Student athletes from over 170 countries are competing in the championships.
