TEHRAN, Jul. 06 (MNA) – Deputy FM for Arab-African affairs has said that ceasefire and dialogue are the only approaches to resolve Yemen's problem.

"Iran supports any efforts by UN envoy to establish ceasefire, break human siege and hold effective Yemeni dialogue as well as completion of political process in the country," Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said, speaking to UN Special Envoy for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed on phone on Sunday.

Condemning Saudi aggression against Yemen's innocent nation, Amir-Abdollahian said, "Saudi military action is a strategic blunder whose result is nothing but massacre of people of Yemen, spread of terrorism and insecurity in Persian Gulf region.”

The UN envoy, for his part, highlighted that Iran and regional countries' support will promote the efforts to stop the war in the impoverished Arab country.

He said human condition in Yemen is at acute level and there is no way but stop the war, establish ceasefire and solve problems through dialogue and talks.
