TEHRAN, Jul. 05 (MNA) – An Iranian girl won the Shooting gold medal of Women's 10m Air Rifle at the 2015 Universiade games in South Korea.

Najmeh Khedmati gained the first gold medal for the Iranian sports squad in Universiade games (World University Games).

Khedmati was also the first gold medalist of the Iranian athletes at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

Athletes from Czech and Serbia stood at second and third places, respectively.

The opening ceremony of the 28th Summer Universiade was held on July 3 and will wrap up on July 14.
