Wang, who is in Vienna for ongoing nuclear talks, told reporters that, "The intensified nuclear talks have been held during recent years, and the basic elements of the negotiation are in place."
He added that Lausanne understanding encompasses all questions concerned, and the basic framework of a nuclear accord has been formed.
He pointed to the efforts by all parties in a bid to ensure a possible comprehensive agreement before the July 7 deadline.
"The Chinese side brought in a couple of solutions to solve the nuclear issue, and I will join my fellow foreign ministers for more detailed discussions. Hopefully a consensus can be reached among the parties concerned," Wang said.
He stressed that China will continue to play a constructive role in advancing nuclear talks and will maintain close contact with all parties involved to help put a historic end to disputes over Tehran's nuclear program.
