Addressing the families of the June 28 (Hafte Tir Bombing) martyrs, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei hailed the contribution of martyrs and said the country requires vigilance and insight on enemies to confront them in the soft-war arenas.
One of the blessings of the 28 June 1981 terror attack, he stated, was betraying the true face of direct culprits of this massive crime, adding that those terrorists after a while allied with Saddam against the Iranian and Iraqi nations.
He said the terrorists and perpetrators who carried out the attack on Iran's MPs and high-ranking politicians 34 years ago live freely in the countries who claim the human rights.
Stressing the need for identification of the enemy, Ayatollah Khamenei said the nation should be ready to understand the depth of the enemy's evilness and to counter it in the soft-power arenas including cultural, political and social scenes.
The Leader also said the nation is in debt to martyrs and their families and those who deny this fact, are aliens to the nations' interests.
On 28 June 1981, during a meeting of leaders of Iran Islamic Republic Party, a bomb blowed up the office killing 73 leading officials including Chief Justice Ayatollah Mohammad Beheshti.
