TEHRAN, Jun. 20 (MNA) – The first torch for phase 19 was fired up ahead of due date, following gas flow test on the first well of SPD19 platform at phase 19 of South Pars Project.

Drilling has been completed on Phase 19 of the South Pars gas field two weeks ahead of the schedule.

It is expected that two rows of phase 19 of South Pars become operational during this Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2015) which adds 25 million cubic meters of sweet gas to the country's national network.

Phase 19 is designed to annually recover 50 million cubic meters of sweet gas, 75 thousand barrels of gas condensate, 400 tons of sulfur, 1.05 million tons of LPG and 1 million tons of Ethane.
