TEHRAN, Jun. 16 (MNA) – Cloudy Children won two main awards of Japan’s Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, an official qualifier of short films for nomination to the annual Academy Awards.

Directed by Reza Fahimi, Iranian short film Cloudy Children gained the best Asian short film award and the festival's grand prize, thus becoming a potential candidate for the 2016 Oscar Academy Award.

The film recounts the story of two students in a village who fighti over the things that they could never have. In the end, they share everything which does not belong to them.

Produced by Rafsanjan Young Cinema Association, Cloudy Children enjoys high chances for winning the best short feature film award of the 2016 Oscar, according to film commentators in Tokyo.

Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia is an official qualifier of short films for nomination to the annual Academy Awards and one of the biggest short film festivals in Asia.
