Deputy Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Asghar Zarean made the remarks Tuesday on the sidelines of visiting tour of directors and faculty members of Qom universities to Fordow nuclear site.
“All activities [at nuclear sites] will continue as they are until the nuclear negotiations reach a conclusion and the two sides decide on their course of actions,” he said.
Zarean maintained that the animosity of the Islamic Revolution’s enemies would only cease when the country has reached the highest achievements in various fields, and as such any halt in achieving nuclear technology is out of question.
He further noted that the nuclear sanctions against Iran has only lead to indigenization of various technologies and the utilization of domestic capacities.
He referred to Ghodrat Reactor Fuel Assembly unveiled on the National Day of Nuclear Technology (April 9) and deemed its design and construction as a great achievement of the Atomic Energy Organization.
He also added that the Yellowcake Production Plant at Ardakan as one of the most important projects of the AEOI has entered the industrial phase since April 2015 with an annual capacity of producing 50 tons of yellowcake.
