The election committee of Iran’s Interior Ministry issued its 3rd announcement to set the time frame for registration of canidates for Parliament elections.
Following the 2nd announcement to inform Iranian citizens, the committee in charge for holding the election for the tenth edition of Iran’s Majlis (Parliment) released its 3rd statement, declaring the period of December 6 to 12 as the legal time for registration of candidacy.
According to the announcement, candidates can put forward their names in the governmental offices of their constituency or in the election committee of Iran’s Interior Ministry in the seven-day period.
Required by the election law, the competitors for parliamentarian seats have to resign their current positions, 6 months prior to the registration date.
