TEHRAN, May 31 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on June 4.

In an interview with Russian RIA Novosti on Saturday, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said Zarif plans to hold a meeting with Lavrov during his visit to the Russian capital.

“Tehran is ready to cooperate with Russia in providing Uranium,” Araghchi said, calling representatives of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation to provide details on the dimensions of cooperation with Iran.

Moscow will host a security conference for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) next Thursday, to which Iran is an observer state.

The SCO comprises Russia, China and Kazakhstan as well as other Central Asian republics of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
