TEHRAN, May 27 (MNA) – Iran’s defense minister and his Russian counterpart have discussed latest situation of bilateral defensive ties in a phone conversation.

Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan and Russian Federation Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu conferred latest developments in defensive and technical cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.

The two officials called for prompt implementation of agreements in all fields of technology, military and security.

Dehghan and Shoygu also pointed to latest developments in security crises in the region and urged regional coordination and collaboration to confront conflicts, violence, terrorism and extremism.
