TEHRAN, May 25 (MNA) – Iran’s Javad Zarif has congratulated the Lebanese leaders on the occasion of Resistance and Liberation Day on May 25, 2000.

In separate messages on Monday, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif extended his messages to leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and his Lebanese counterpart Gebran Bassil.

On May 25, 2000, the Lebanese resistance managed to heroically resist against the Zionist regime and liberated south of Lebanon. Zarif dubbed the event as ‘unforgettable,’ one which displayed strong unity between the Lebanese parties. He said the victory was a turning point in the history of resistance of the Muslim nations.
