Ayatollah Khamenei pointed to new issues once again being raised during the nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 states, reaffirming that "the Islamic Republic would not allow any inspection of its military sites by foreign agents."
“They demand to be permitted to interview our nuclear scientists; this means interrogation. I will not allow any foreigners to speak with the nation’s respected scientists,” Ayat. Khamenei asserted.
The Leader maintained that he has been informed the Islamic Republic’s enemies in league with a number of imprudent officials of the Persian Gulf states intend to engage Iran with proxy wars; “they must be aware however, that in case of any misconduct, Iran’s response will be extremely harsh.”
Ayatollah Khamenei further highlighted that the only way to counter the insolent enemy was ‘determination’ and ‘avoidance of passivity.’ He also noted that Iranian negotiators must be able to demonstrate the country’s message and greatness in the course of nuclear talks.
The Leader speculated today’s ‘discourse of ignorance’ which is an oppressive and arrogant discourse of hegemonic powers is standing against the ‘Islamic discourse’ which advocates justice, human freedom and the eradication of exploitation and dominance.
He also noted that nations are keen enough to distinguish between these two discourses and recognize the hypocrisy of the discourse of ignorance disguised as ‘human rights’ and ‘non-violence’.
“There will be no reconciliation between these two discourses since one is based on oppression and aggression against other nations while the Islamic discourse is based on supporting the oppressed and fighting the oppressors,” the Leader said.
Ayatollah Khamenei then referred to the enemies’ propaganda which labeled Iran as an isolated nation, saying “Iran is well-respected among just and independent states; isolated are those countries which rely on dollar and oppression to pull some people to their own side.”
