Shahram Nazeri’s latest album had already been released to the music market; however, University of Tehran’s Faculty of Persian Literature will unveil in a ceremony which would be a tribute to Nazeri’s lifelong achievement in finding Iranian classic music in brick and leaving it in the marble.
The album is a product of cooperation by Farid Elhami as composer and a musical band ‘Ferdowsi’ as the playing crew. The ceremony will screen two pieces of the album. The first part of the visual album, which is a joint venture by Sara Abbaspour acting as traditional naqqal (raconteur) and Nazli Bakhshayesh as player of harp, which will be their premier as well.
The second piece to be screened is ‘The Decline of Zahhak’. Nazeri will also appear in person to enliven the ceremony with his own singing of pieces of the album.
Famous among the participating figures will be notable Jalaleddin Kazzazi, Persian literary figure and literary critic.
The ceremony will kick off 13:30 Tehran local time.
