Iran’s FM Mohammad Javad Zarif and US Secretary of State John Kerry held the second round of nuclear talks along with their accompanying teams in Munich.
Previously, Zarif and Kerry held bilateral meeting along with their negotiating team on Friday in Munich. Iran and US deputy foreign ministers continued talks at expert level on Friday and Saturday.
In addition, Iran's foreign minister will hold talks with his French counterpart today in Munich at 11 am local time (Tehran: 13:30).
During the meeting, the two sides are scheduled to discuss Iran's nuclear issue and regional developments.
Iran’s FM Mohammad Javad Zarif will also attend a panel today that will be hosted by the Washington Post's analyst David Ignatius.
During the past two days in Munich, FM Zarif also had nuclear talks with his counterparts from Germany, Britain and Russia, and deputy foreign ministers also met with their French and German counterparts.
Negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program are ongoing on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference and it is hoped the two sides take significant steps towards reaching a political agreement before the deadline on June 30.
Zarif and his accompanying team will end their visit to Munich tomorrow.
