TEHRAN, Jan. 20 (MNA) – The IRGC commander has issued a statement on the occasion of the martyrdom of a Force general in Syria during an Israeli helicopter attack.

Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari emphasized in the statement that the IRGC would continue the battle up to the collapse of the Zionist regime, “as it has shown in past battles.”

Brig. Gen. Mohammad Ali Allahdadi was killed by an Israeli helicopter attack during a mission in Syrian border region of Quneitra along with a number of Hezbollah warrior-fighters including Jihad Mughnieyh, the son of fallen general of Hezbollah.

“Today, the young cohort in Islamic world is all Jihad Mughniyah, and all IRGC staff are Brig. Gen. Allahdadi; these martyrdoms gave lesson to us that we should not abandon jihad; Zionists should await devastating thunder of the IRGC, as they have already tasted the bitter defeat in the hand of the Forces in Palestine and Lebanon,” read part of the statement which adopted an epic tone.

“The IRGC will continue the battle till the collapse of the Zionist regime; verily, the blood shed unjustly would precipitate the prophecy made by Imam Khomeini (RA) on the liberation of Holy Quds still nearer,” read the statement.
