A terrorist team that had conducted several blind terror attacks on a number of teachers and Basij forces in the southeastern part of the country were captured today by the vigilant efforts of 'combatants' from Quds Force Headquarters.
Hossein Ali Shahriari, parliament member from Zahedan in Iran’s Majlis, told Tasnim parliamentary correspondent that the terrorist team comprised of nine members that had carried out terror attacks on two civilians in Sarbaz County in Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
While strongly condemning such terrorist attacks in various regions of Sistan and Baluchestan Province which shares borders with Pakistan and Afghanistan, he added that terrorism had led to an insecure situation in the Province reducing investment, employment and production growth.
He called for a considerable increase in the next year’s budget for providing additional security at Iran’s borders.
The Quds Force is a special unit of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corpse, commanded by Major General Qasem Soleimani, nowadays widely known for his presence and consultations in Iraq which has led to significant gains for Iraqi forces against ISIL.
