TEHRAN, Dec. 10 (MNA) - Iranian researchers have successfully produced diagnostic kit of Hepatitis B to enter the market next Iranian year.

Abdolreza Ardeshiri, board member of Stem Cell Technology Research Center announced that this center has accomplished the production of kits used for diagnosis, measurement and curing Hepatitis B.

He said that the kit has so far been produced by only two countries, thus imported to the country. Iran has bought this kit from Russia for about 3000 dollars, but the domestic version produced costs only 600 dollars. “This would help us to cut capital outflow from the country and we are also looking for export of this product” he added.

Ardeshiri asserted that the kit was very precise in diagnosing Hepatitis B was able to diagnose the illness at all stages, useful for both patients and healthy people.

This product has been presented at the Achievements Of Research And Technology exhibition in Sharif University of Technology and will be at the market by next Iranian year beginning on March 21, 2015.
