MASHHAD, Nov. 29 (MNA) – Ministry of Education and Deputy of Women and Family Affairs have signed an Memorandum to set the ground for female dropouts in Mashhad to return to school to complete their education.

“The Ministry of Education spends 99 per cent of its budget on paying its employees and has only one percent of the funding to spend in other areas; thus, we are calling on all organizations and public entities to help us implement school construction and other related projects,” Director of Women’s Affairs for the Ministry of Education Mahnaz Ahmadi said.

Ahmadi referred to four MoUs signed between the Ministry of Education and the Deputy of Women and Family Affairs and said, “these MoUs include the educational and health care improvements for high school girls in disadvantaged areas, educating girls with intellectual disabilities on life skills, improving communication skills between parents and students, and education coverage for girl dropouts.”

She noted that in the east of the country many female students have dropped out of schools due to cultural issues. Under the signed agreement, the Ministry of Education will make sure these dropouts return to school to complete their education.
