ARAK, Nov. 26 (MNA) – Governor of Markazi Province says the province is ready to boost foreign investment and utilization due to different industrial and agricultural capacity.

In a meeting with ambassador of Switzerland and enterpreneurs held in Markazi Province Tuesday evening, the Governor Mohammad Hossein Moghimi said the province with an area of 29 thousand square kilometers, consisted of 1.8 percent of the whole country area.
He also described the province as industrialized and added that having 2900 industrial units, Markazi Province is the fourth largest industrial hub of the region.
Referring to the province industrial productions, Mohammad Hossein Moghimi said metal industries such as aluminum, glass, cement, acoustic and thermal insulation, synthetic fibers, chemicals and petrochemicals, refined products, all kinds of cars and trucks, agricultural machinery, and tractors are of main industrial products in the province.
With regards to trade relations with Switzerland, Moghimi said that the province had imported $800,000 from Switzerland in the first five months of this year.
He said Markazi Province was ready to export goods to Switzerland, including industrial machinery and construction materials.
