VIENNA, Nov. 22 (MNA) – Today (Nov. 22) Iranian deputy foreign ministers Majid Takht Ravanchi and Seyed Abbas Araghchi hold talks with their Russian and American counterparts in separate meetings in Vienna.

The meeting with the Russian deputy FM Sergei Ryabkov took place at 11 AM local time (1:30 Tehran Time).

Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will also be joining Iran, G5+1 nuclear talks in the Austrian capital.

The Iranian deputy FMs will meet with the US senior negotiator William Burns at 12 PM local time (2:30 PM Tehran time).

Frank-Walter Steinmeier German FM is also expected to arrive in Vienna in the next hours.

Since Thursday night, Iran and the US FMs and Catherine Ashton have had three rounds of intensive talks to break the deadlock in Iran’s nuclear program.

Earlier today, Zarif had met with his Austrian counterpart Sebastian Kurz to discuss bilateral relations as well as the ongoing nuclear talks.

Mohammad Javad Zarif had stated that no remarkable proposal had been offered by the other side and he had subsequently canceled his flight on Friday to accompany the Iranian deputies during the Vienna talks.

So far, the new proposals do not seem to have been helpful in resolving the remaining issues on Iran’s nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions. Iran does not agree to the West’s proposal on the gradual lifting of sanctions and the West opposes to Iran’s proposed number of centrifuges.
