“The ship was built in Farasahel Ship Building complex under the supervision of Bahr Gostaresh Hormuz; the cruise has applications in carrying heavy machinery, containers and trucks,” he told Mehr News.

“The ship satisfies Iranian and global standards of operation between the mainland and islands; the ship is capable of carrying 90 automobiles; 20 containers, and 20 trucks,” Broushan said, and that “an advantage of the ship is its enjoying of two hulls which enables it to easily frequent the mainland and the island in inclement weather conditions.”

He also said that design and manufacture of the ship were possible indigenously and satisfied related global standards.
