TEHRAN, Oct. 07 (MNA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister has received new Belgian ambassador to Tehran this morning.

Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, in the meeting with new Belgian ambassador to Tehran, said that Iran will not accept any agreement if its rights are not respected.

Zarif, after receiving credentials of the new Belgian Ambassador to Tehran Francois Delhaye, expressed hope for expansion of Tehran-Brussels ties especially in economic relations.

Zarif also pointed to developments in region and expressed regret that “certain countries have adopted wrong policies in Syria.”

“Some people presume that radicals and Syrian government are destroying each other, but such a view makes the situation more complicated,” said he.

Francois Delhaye, for his part, expressed hope that cooperation between the two countries in different fields can be promoted, adding that there is a great capacity for expansion of bilateral cooperation.
