ZAHEDAN, Aug. 10 (MNA) – A Saravan Azad Univeristy robotic team has won the first prize for the best aerial systems integration in the International Aerial Robotics Competition in Shanghai, China.

Makran Robotic Team, consisting of Abdolahad Pakbaz, Nasser Nosrat Zehi and Mohammad Baset Derazehi represented the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The team was sponsored by Chabahar Free Economic Zone. It won the prize for the best vertical flight robot design as well.

The head of the Chabahar Free Economic Zone congratulated the team for success in the competitions. “The youth in the province has proved their capabilities, which indicates a promising future for the province in terms of research,” said Hamedali Mobaraki. “Chabahar Free Economic Zone welcomes supporting the elites and bright talents in the region to propagate the scientific position of the province in the country,” he added.
