TEHRAN, Aug. 05 (MNA) –Iran’s Judiciary Spokesperson and Prosecutor General has said a Washington Post arrested journalist has been freed on bail.

Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, the spokesperson for the Iranian Judiciary and the country's Prosecutor General who was talking to the press on the sidelines of 66th Judiciary Symposium on Monday, said that the court had released one of four Washington Post journalists on bail ‘in early days,’ and three others were still in detention.

Iran’s Judiciary detained four Washington Post journalist and photographers including Jason Rezaian and Yeganeh Salehi in Tehran on July 22, 2014. Ejei did not mention the name of the released journalist. He also did not provide further details, since “the case is still in preliminary stages and I could not reveal much about that.”
