TEHRAN, July 22 (MNA) – Iran’s Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced an account number to call people for monetary help for Gazans.

The IRCS has called for a public participation to help supply the oppressed people in Gaza with basic humanitarian aids.

Head of Iran’s Red Crescent Society Seyyed Ahmad Mousavi said that the society had already allocated $62,000 in humanitarian aid to the Palestine Red Crescent Society.

He said the money would be spent on purchasing food, medicine and hygiene products for the people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Gaza has recently been under severe attacks by the Israeli regime since July 8 from air and land. More than 600 people have so far been murdered and nearly 4000 injured while thousands have been displaced in the enclave.
