TEHRAN, July 15 (MNA) – Hamas, Islamic Jihad envoys and Palestine ambassador to Tehran have addressed the open session of the Iranian parliament today morning.

Salah Zawawi, Palestinian ambassador to Tehran was the first to address the 200 representative attending the open session. “Palestinians are on desperate conditions and under the raids by US and Israeli air fighters, they break their fast with blood; they are victims to US and Zionist regime plots,” he added.

Salah Zawawi, Palestinian ambassador to Tehran was the first guest to address the 200 representatives attending the open session. “Palestinians are on desperate conditions and under the raids by US and Israeli air fighters, they break their fast with blood; they are victims to US and Zionist regime plots,” he said.

“Palestinian officials and political activists are regularly kidnapped, burned, and arrested in the West Bank; despite such situation, Palestinians in Gaza Strip have strongly withstood the Zionist aggression,” Zawawi added addressing the parliament open session.

“It is now about 100 years that Palestinians drink the hemlock of the fact that no city in the Palestinian Territories remained unscathed by the Zionist regime air strikes,” said he, with a hopeful change of the tone, “but the era of the Zionist regime has come to an end and Palestinian children will soon see the morning of victory.”

Palestinian ambassador denounced support of the Zionist regime by ‘some countries in the region.’ “They target hearts of their youth by supporting the regime,” he added.

He also called what he believed were ‘Arab brethren’ for ‘facilitating the historical process,’ and ‘bring about the annihilation of the malignant tumor grown in the country.’

Nasser Abu Sharif, the Islamic Jihad envoy to Tehran was the second speaker. He was the ‘special guest’ in today’s meeting. He expressed gratitude to supporters of the Palestinians against the Zionist aggression, who he believed, would rejoice the victory of ‘this oppressed people’ against Zionist regime.

However, he said that there were some parties which would damage this victory ‘in current conditions.’ “The Zionist regime has waged a blatant attempt to restore the long-lost glory of the regime by attacking Gaza,” he said, “they failed in the mission and now 6 million Israeli citizens have now crept into the safe retreat of their underground bunkers, and their economy and tourism have now recessed, with estimated loss of $3.7 billion.”

Abu Sharif attributed such damage on the Zionist economy to the ‘resistance by the pious Palestinians who believe that the victory is for God’s cause.’

He believed that support by the ‘brethren,’ of whom the Islamic Republic of Iran was prominent, a need for the Islamic Jihad. “With no doubt, the resistance by the Palestinians would shine brighter by support of Muslim brothers and sisters,” Abu Sharif told the meeting.

Khalid al-Qaddumi, the representative of Hamas in Tehran was the third Palestinian official to address the parliament. He pointed to 'advancements in strategic missile capabilities of the Palestinian Resistance forces,' which he believed, was achieved 'in the most difficult times and under pressure.'

Al-Qaddumi also gave an account of the conditions of daily life in Gaza. “The Zionist regime seeks to achieve its objectives of preparing the ground for terrorists to find a foothold in Islamic countries through heightening the tension in the region,” he told the meeting.

He congratulated Islamic Umma on the victories by Palestinian Resistance against Israel.
