Suroush Sadeqnejad, Executive committee member of the Federation of International Robot-soccer Association told Mehr News that the university hosted third round of such event. Countries such as Canada and Germany had hosted past rounds of the event before.
“Iran had five participants among high school students, university students, and the general public,” he added.
“Invited lecturers from Canada and Taiwan delivered speeches to the School, and two other lecturers from Amir Kabir University of Technology also addressed the participants,” he asserted.
“9 robots, including 4 Iranians and 5 US, French, and South Korean robots attended in the International School,” said Sadeqnejad, adding that “ the major point of departure in this round was participation of more smart and highly maneuverable robots.”
