TEHRAN, June 11 (MNA) – Iran’s head of Supreme National Security Council has said expansion of terrorist militants of DAESH in Iraq tolls the bell for the whole region.

In a meeting with the Syrian ambassador to Tehran, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani congratulated Syrians on the successful elections and Bashar Al-Assad’s reelection.

Shamkhani told Adnan Mahmoud that the election result was an end to the crisis in Syria and ‘healing for the wounds of Syrians’ and a defeat for the terrorists and their supporters.

“Syria slapped the supporters of the terrorists in the face and displayed its power to them,” said Shamkhani and added that “expansion of terrorism in the region is a result of illogical policies of terrorists’ supporters in Syria and it is a warning to the region.”

He added that the ruins by terrorists in the region should be soon constructed and peace should be a priority for Syrians.
