TEHRAN, June 2 (MNA) – The adviser to Iranian Parliament speaker on international affairs has said observer delegations from nine countries will be in Syria to supervise presidential election.

Observers from Bolivia, Venezuela, Philippines, Tajikistan, Zimbabwe and Uganda would accompany the Iranian delegation to Syria.

Asked about the countries accompanying Islamic Republic of Iran to go and observe the upcoming Syrian presidential elections, Hossein Sheikholeslam told Mehr News Parliament correspondent that seven parliament delegations out of the nine would leave Tehran to Damascus on Monday. He added that Lebanese and Russian delegations had already left for Syria.

These seven Syrian presidential observer delegations attended the 2nd conference of ‘Friends of Syria’ on June 1 in Tehran.
