TEHRAN, May 28 (MNA) – Iran has proposed joint training sessions with Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization to be held.

Jalal Anvar the APSCO head had visited Iran to attend the International Workshop on Management of Space Programs and visited Iran’s Space Organization and Iran University of Science and Technology Research Center.

The Workshop was held jointly by Iran’s Space Organization and APSCO on May 17-26. Dr. Hamid Fazeli, the head of Iran’s Space Organization commented on the objectives of the visit.

“The APSCO delegation visited the University’s Research Center infrastructure in research and capacities in space. They also will visit universities active in developing satellites including Amir Kabir University of Technology,” he added.

“Dr. Hossein Bolandi the head of University Research Center proposed that a bilateral and trilateral agreement be signed by Iran’s Space Organization, APSCO, and the University to hold joint training session in MS and PhD,” Fazeli said.

Fazeli also said that similar agreements had been signed by APSCO with Chinese Space Organization to train APSCO member states’ students.
