TEHRAN, April 30 (MNA) – Nicaragua’s FM has asked for expansion of ties regarding hydroelectricity.

Nicaragua’s foreign minister who is in Iran since Monday met with Iran’s Water and Power Resources Development Company CEO Mohammad Reza Rezazadeh. He expressed his country’s interest for expanding of ties between Nicaragua and Iran.

Samuel Santos López told that IWPCO was one of the biggest companies producing hydroelectricity which had done important projects in the country for more than twenty five years.

López also received a report of projects done by IWPCO and he maintained that Nicaragua would seek electricity production based on clean sources.
