TEHRAN, April 9 (MNA) – Iranians commemorate National Nuclear Technology day to remember indigenous access to peaceful nuclear technology.

The 20th of Farvardin the 1st month of Iranian Solar Calendar coincident April 8 or 9, has been titled as the National Nuclear Technology Day in Iran. It is to celebrate Islamic Republic of Iran’s access to peaceful nuclear technology on the same day, 2006.

On Farvardin 20th of 2006 the news of Iran’s access to uranium enrichment technology and launching a complete chain of enrichment in Iran's Natanz Nuclear Site and completion of the nuclear fuel circle were announced by the media around the world.

Iranian scientists made hard efforts to set the stage for fulfillment of this achievement and broke the monopoly of nuclear technology by a few powerful countries.

A number of Iranian scientists related to nuclear field were martyred afterward by the Zionist backed stooges who could not tolerate the improvements.

The day Farvardin 20th was entitled as the National Nuclear Technology Day so that Iranians celebrate the anniversary of unique achievements and remember the martyred scientists forever.
