SHAHRUD, March 30 (MNA) – Iran’s East-North Railway general manager has said that a train with passengers from Tehran to Mashhad jumped off a track near Shahroud and fortunately there no casualty was reported out there.

Amir Hossein Tavpour told Mehr News correspondent that at around 4 a.m. Sunday the train with 400 passengers left Shahroud to Mashahd jumped off the track but no one was seriously injured, only five were slightly wounded.

He added that 88 trains move the same railway on a daily basis with around forty thousand of passengers to Mashhad.

Tavpour held that the railway was fixed quickly and trains move safely on the railway.
