TEHRAN, March 16 (MNA) – Iranian researchers have indigenously developed Ozone disinfectants technology which has been exclusive to western countries before.

The technology of safe disinfectants has been exclusive to some western countries for more than a century; but now an Iranian researcher has developed it inside the country.

Carcinogenic disinfectants are banned in developed countries for more than 30 years and the World Health Organization has announced bans on their use by 2015.

Ali Beheshti, the Iranian researcher, is the CEO of the only producer of this safe disinfectant in the Middle East. Ozone disinfectant was first used in 1893 for a water refinery in Netherlands. Beheshti started his research in 2008 and in 2011 was awarded the best manufacturer prize in the country. He reiterated that "the Ozone disinfectant generator is now prepared for mass production and export to the neighboring countries."

This Iranian inventor added that “in line with the Leader’s remarks about resistance economy we have tried our best so far and expect supports from authorities.”
