TEHRAN, Feb. 12 (MNA) – Millions of Iranians have come to streets on 22 Bahman (Feb. 11) to mark the anniversary of Islamic Revolution.

Millions of Iranians come to streets on 22 Bahman (Feb. 11) to mark the anniversary of Islamic Revolution. Ideological background and exclusive leadership make Islamic Revolution different from other revolutions. Year after year people go out to celebrate the Revolution in every city across the country.

In the capital city of Tehran public take into the streets all marching towards Azadi Square, the symbolic location of the Revolution.

 

 

All groups of people including the Iranian government officials and celebrities participate in the rally. President of the Islamic Republic Dr Hassan Rouhani also was among the demonstrators to the Azadi Square with the public and addressed the public there.

 

 

Iran’s foreign minister Dr Zarif joined the mass as well.

 

 

In southern and northern coastal cities different groups of local communities attended the occasion’s ceremony.

 

 

 

In frigid cities of north and north western regions, people participated in the nationwide rallies.

 

 

In western provinces religious minorities create the same scenes as the capital with different ethnics, in their traditional clothes and supporting Revolutionary ideals.

 

 

 

The religious cities of Iran faced the most crowded streets with people marching towards the holy shrines of Imam Reza and Lady Masoumeh(pbut).

 

 

 

 

Historical cities of Isfahan and Shiraz were also scenes of revolutionary people taking into streets.

 

 

Iranians gathered on 22 Bahman (Feb. 11) from different groups on bikes, wheelchairs, and baby carriage to march to start the 36th revolutionary year. 

 

 

A visitor to the Iran witnesses all ages and groups of people from children to the elders, students, athletes and the scientists all unified at annual Revolution celebrations.
